Long battery life
A battery life of 7 hours would already be impressive for any
laptop. But for a high-performance laptop with a screen
ultra-high resolution, top-of-the-line processors and graphics, and a
super-thin design, it's simply remarkable. The built-in battery of
95 W/h provides up to 1000 full charge and discharge cycles and
up to 30 days standby with instant start. So when you put
your MacBook Pro in standby, you find it instantly ready to use a
day, a week or even a month later. Thanks to Power Nap, which is coming this
summer with OS X Mountain Lion, your sleeping MacBook Pro continues to receive emails
and calendar invitations. And if it is connected to a power source, it can also
download software updates and back up with Time Machine.

Audio and Visual
Until you hear sound from the speakers built into the whole
new MacBook Pro, you won't hear a thing. For such a thin and light computer

So that you are never left in the dark.

iCloud
Your content. On all your devices: iCloud stores your content and gives you access to your music, photos, calendars, contacts, documents and more, regardless of the device you use. So if you edit a photo on your iPhone or postpone a meeting on your iPad, iCloud makes sure those changes are reflected on your Mac as well.

Ports and connections
Everything about the new MacBook Pro is high performance. Even its inputs/outputs. Thunderbolt technology is the fastest and most versatile I/O available, and this laptop is equipped with two Thunderbolt ports. This is a decisive advantage when you need to connect to all kinds of elements: external monitors, RAID arrays, video capture devices or even FireWire peripherals (adapter sold separately, available in July) and Gigabit Ethernet networks (adapter sold separately).
